Question:
I work with two proteins in the bacteria Clostridiumacetobutylicum I am worried that they many not be highly antigenic. Do you offer any computational services that will enable to determine how antigenic they might be?
Resolution:
The best way to test immunogenicity is to just try it in your best guess animal - we can do this for you in chickens very inexpensively ($525 plus purification, if needed).
If size is an issue (less than 18 - 20 KD) either polymerize it or conjugate it to a carrier protein (KLH/OVA).
You can also use the Antigenic gateway on our website to analyze the peptide sequence but this is primarily used for selecting candidates for peptide synthesis.
