Question:
I have started a monoclonal antibody project with your company. My protein antigen is solubilized in Urea. Is it OK for using in the ELISA screening of the hybridomas?
Resolution:
Urea does not present a problem when coating ELISA plates. We have used it regularly in the range of 2 - 4 M to coat problem proteins. We expect no difficulties due to the Urea.
